Be among the first 25 applicants. This role is ideal for a creative and culturally aware social media professional passionate about elevating authentic voices. You will lead the content strategy and execution for a newly relaunched Polynesian stationery brand, focusing on bilingual Samoan / English products. The primary objective is to drive engagement and sales through a culturally reflective campaign across Instagram and Facebook, ensuring the brand’s unique identity is at the forefront of all content. The position requires immediate involvement in an intensive 4–6 week campaign, followed by ongoing content management to maintain momentum and community engagement.

Deliverables

  • Develop and implement a content calendar for Instagram and Facebook, planning 3–5 posts per week.
  • Create engaging reels, posts, and stories that highlight the brand’s cultural authenticity and product range.
  • Produce visually compelling content, including graphics and short‑form videos, tailored to each platform.
  • Collaborate on caption drafting and ensure all messaging aligns with the brand’s voice and values.
  • Monitor and report on key analytics, including engagement, follower growth, KPIs, and sales impact, providing monthly performance summaries.
  • Support the transition from campaign launch to ongoing content flow, maintaining consistent brand presence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing social media for product or e-commerce brands, with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
  • Deep understanding of Polynesian culture and the ability to authentically represent it in digital content.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management platforms.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality reels, graphics, and stories.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics, interpreting data, and optimizing content strategies for engagement and sales.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability for an intensive campaign period, with flexibility to transition to a maintenance role.
