Overview
We're FIRST Security, one of New Zealand's market leaders in security.
As an EMS (Electronic Monitoring Service) Field Officer at FIRST Security, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly on people in the Community serving a non-custodial sentence, you will attend to locations such as courts, prisons, and residential homes, as required to conduct these installs or call outs.
Responsibilities
You will be our first point of contact for any equipment failure, alert activations and you will liaise with our field support team to ensure issues are attended to and fixed quickly.
Rotating roster
Hours of work – 24 / 7 rotating roster
Full and ongoing Training provided
A supportive Team environment
You will be required to assist in other business sector if required.
What we need you to have
'Can do' attitude
Excellent people and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
A current full NZ Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
A current Certificate of Approval (COA) or the ability to obtain one
Benefits
Pay rate starting at $23.50 per hour; Pay rate of $27.80 per hour when fully trained in EMS.
