Job description

At Arizto, we’re shaking up the real estate industry with our unique, tech-savvy approach. As a fully online agency, we empower our Agents to deliver top-notch service while keeping it cost-effective. Now, as part of our continued growth, we’re building an in-house social media team – and we’re looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to help bring our vision to life.

Your primary mission is to make our Agents look like superstars on their own social media channels. You’ll work hand-in-hand with them to draw out their unique personality and expertise, creating authentic content that builds their personal brand and generates awareness and leads. This isn’t about standardised property listing videos (though we’re great at those too); it’s about capturing the individual character of each Agent and telling their story in a way that resonates with their local audience.

This is a Canterbury-based role, requiring daily travel. If you’re a talented social media content creator and people-person, if you always put client needs first and are ready to grow alongside a fast-evolving team, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Agent-Centric Content Creation

Partner directly with Agents to plan, capture and edit high-quality, personality-driven video and photo content for their individual social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).

  • Creative Scripting & Trend-Focused Production
  • Conceptualise, script and film compelling social media content that leverages the latest Facebook, Instagram and TikTok trends and best practices, tailored specifically to enhance each Agent's unique personal brand within the real estate industry and their local market.

  • On-Camera Direction & Coaching
  • Skillfully direct and put Agents at ease on camera, drawing out their natural charisma and knowledge to create authentic and engaging content.

  • Technical Production
  • Manage all aspects of on-location production. Be familiar with lighting, capturing clean audio and filming with professional cameras as well as smartphones.

  • Post-Production & Editing
  • Execute fast-paced, professional editing workflows using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to produce polished, platform-optimised content.

  • Workflow Management
  • Efficiently manage the content pipeline from brief to final delivery, ensuring timely approval and publishing.

    Your Background :

  • An Expert Content Creator
  • You have 3+ years of professional experience creating social-first video content, with a portfolio that demonstrates your skill across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.

  • A Technical Pro
  • You are proficient with smartphone content creation as well as DSLR / mirrorless cameras and have hands-on experience with professional equipment, including lighting and audio.

  • A Skilled Editor
  • You have advanced skills in mobile editing (CapCut, InShot) and desktop software (Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent), with a sharp eye for pace, graphics, and trending formats.

  • A People Person & Director
  • You have proven experience working directly with clients or talent. You are confident directing people on camera, building rapport quickly and making them feel comfortable to bring out their best performance.

  • A Social Media Native
  • You don’t just use social media; you live it. You know what works on each platform and how to adapt content to maximise engagement and growth for a personal brand.

  • An Organised Self-Starter
  • You thrive in a remote role, managing your own schedule, travel and deadlines with impeccable organisation and professionalism.

    What We Offer :

  • A Dynamic Role : Escape the desk. Every day is different, with new locations, people and creative challenges.
  • Creative Impact : See your work go live and directly contribute to the success of local businesses (our Agents).
  • Autonomy & Trust : Manage your own schedule and territory with the support of a collaborative internal team.
  • Clear Growth Pathways : Be a founding member of a new, exciting function within a fast-growing company.
  • A Culture of Innovation : Join a passionate, no-ego team that’s rewriting the rules of real estate.
  • If you\'re interested in working with us please apply here with your Cover Letter, CV and a link to your portfolio.

A full driver\'s licence is essential.

Applications close : Midnight, Friday 17 October, 2025.
