Responsibilities

As head of English, you will provide leadership in this curriculum area across the school, with the aim of optimising student learning and academic outcomes.

Requirements

Leadership of the English curriculum

Experience teaching English

Recent professional development in literacy

New Zealand teacher registration

Bachelor's or Master's degree

Relevant teaching qualifications

Strong organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Collaborative, enthusiastic team player

Willingness to uphold the special character and culture of Saint Kentigern and commitment to the co-curricular sports programme of the girls' school.
