Bakery Manager

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Bakery Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

Days are negotiable but will include a weekend day.Daily Tasks Involved in the role : Creating and overseeing the production list to ensure a full range of high-quality bakery products are baked dailyOversee the training and support of all team membersOrdering and maintaining all essential bakery needs for creation and display of goodsImplementing and ensuring food safety and health & safety standards are metDelivering exceptional customer serviceEnsuring all products are merchandised to a high standardEnsuring all bakery equipment is operated and maintained correctly and team members are trained to operate equipment safelyLeading positive and supportive working relationships with and within the whole bakery team and the wider New World Kaikoura team.The person we are looking for will have the following attributes : 2 years' experience as a baker plus equivalent to NZ Certificate in BakingExcellent communication skills to lead the teamMust be able to show initiativeMust be honest and reliableMust be physically fit as they will be on their feet all dayHave a good sense of humour!
