Our rural bankers have a good grasp of rural business realities; many are farmers themselves or have experience in farming and they are very much a part of their local community.To continue our excellent success story in our Rural team, we are looking for a Rural Relationship Manager to join our busy team in Rotorua.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage complex rural business from within a current portfolio; assist these businesses to meet their financial objectives through the promotion of ASB products and services suited to their ongoing needs.

Prepare, analyse and communicate complex large-scale credit transactions; manage customer lending, deposits, referrals, and other banking requirements to provide solutions best suited to their financial needs.

Establish strong working relationships with customers; provide outstanding customer service to a portfolio of high net worth individuals and key industry leaders.

Assume lead responsibility for these customers as you develop in the role.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience and a proven track record in analysing and structuring complex proposals; outstanding communication, organisational, and time-management skills.

Typically suited to an experienced Rural banker with strong financial literacy and an understanding of the Rural sector; looking to further develop your career.
