Our current LSC is taking Maternity leave for 2026.

We therefore seek an experienced and passionate educator to take on the vital role of learning support coordinator (LSC).

This is a key position, supporting learners at both St Joseph's School (0.7) and Nelson Intermediate (0.3).

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with leadership Work alongside the leadership teams of both schools to identify and coordinate appropriate learning support, ensuring every student is supported to achieve success.Cluster-wide engagement Partner with other LSCs to share strategies, streamline processes, and strengthen support systems for students across the cluster, through regular hui.Support families and whanau Build meaningful relationships with parents and whanau, helping them to navigate learning support pathways and partner effectively with their school.Engage with stakeholders Liaise with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure coordinated, effective support is in place.
