Established in 2016, ARC Vets is an independent NZ family-owned referral practice with two state-of-the-art small animal hospitals in Auckland, ARC Central Ltd in Freemans Bay, and ARC North Ltd in Albany. We’re a 24 / 7 operation with an incredible team of specialists in surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and critical care. ARC North also offers hydrotherapy services.
We have all the equipment you would expect in a modern referral veterinary hospital includingfull in-house laboratory suite with Radiometer, multiparameter patient monitors, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, underwater treadmill, mechanical ventilation, on-site CT and MRI, along with dedicated cat and dog receptions, consulting rooms and wards.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make an impact in a purpose-driven, animal-loving workplace? We’re seeking a confident and capable HR Advisor to join our friendly vet clinic team in Albany, Auckland on a fixed-term contract.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting our HR systems and processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations in a busy and rewarding environment.
We are implementing a new HRIS from February 2026 and we need a clever and experienced HR Advisor who is keen to partner with the People & Culture Manager to make this transition a success.

Experience in rostering, payroll and HRIS.
Detailed and high level of accuracy
