Syllabus Tutoring provides expert tuition and transport options for students within Years 0-13, specialising in Maths, English, and Science. Based in East Auckland, New Zealand, our services are designed to support student learning and development through tailored tutoring sessions that meet each student's unique needs.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Private Tutor. The Private Tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering individualized tutoring sessions in Maths, English, and Science to students from Years 0-13. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to both students and parents. The role is located in Highland Park, Auckland, with the option of remote tutoring inside students’ homes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Maths, English, and Science
• Experience in teaching or tutoring students within Years 0-13
• Strong organisational and lesson planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different learning styles
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with virtual and in-person tutoring methods is a plus

Wages

Syllabus Mobile Tutoring will offer successful applicants between $25-$50 an hour. The rate would be based on their work experience and qualifications.
