We specialise in water network maintenance and reticulation renewal construction. We service almost a quarter of properties nationwide; and we maintain over 20,000kms of pipe network. About the job :
We’re looking for an experienced Meters Team Leader to join our team in Auckland.
Assisting the Water Supervisor, you will :
- Lead and support field teams to deliver efficient, safe, high-quality maintenance work
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff, helping them build skill and confidence
- Install, repair and maintain Valves, Hydrants and Meters
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and allocating staff and plant
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and the public
- Promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental care
- Ensure records, reporting and job documentation are accurate and timely
- Provide leadership support when the Water Supervisor is away
What you’ll need :
A Level 3 Water Serviceperson Qualification or relevant Water Industry Trade Qualification (Level 4 is desirable)Experience leading or mentoring small teamsStrong understanding of 3 Waters networks and solid construction skillsConfidence with technology and digital reportingA commitment to safe working practicesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAll preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
