This is a fast-paced 7-day work environment that is supported by paid staff and volunteers.
Our Assistant Manager will work closely with our Shop Manager and team to optimise productivity and grow sales of donated goods, which helps us to fund our vital community work.ResponsibilitiesManaging day-to-day operations of the shop and supporting the Shop ManagerStock management including presentation, merchandising, pricing, and storageManagement of volunteers to ensure a smooth workflowGenerating appeal and demand of donated goods to increase revenue growthEnsuring legal and organisational requirements are metEnhancing the profile of Waipuna HospiceHoursWednesday 8.00am - 4.00pmThursday 8.00am - 4.30pmFriday 8.00am - 4.30pmSaturday 9.00am - 4.30pmAdditional hours may be required from time to time to cover annual leave and sickness.Skills and ExperiencesAbout YouYou will be a creative thinker, problem solver, natural networker with exceptional communication skills.
