Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We’re the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to the innovation customers rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Responsibilities

  • Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs
  • Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts
  • Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events
  • Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis)
  • This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using lifting equipment
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle to travel between sites

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating under pressure
