  • ?? About the Role :

As a senior nurse, you'll play a key role in supporting the Heart Foundation's mission.

You'll develop high-quality clinical resources, provide training to health professionals and Heart Health Promotors, and help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease across New Zealand.

This role also involves engaging with key stakeholders in the health sector, contributing clinical expertise to national campaigns, and representing the Heart Foundation at conferences and symposiums.

Your Key Responsibilities will include : Developing and reviewing consumer and health professional resources (digital and print) that reflect best practice.

Providing clinical training and support to Heart Health Promotors to strengthen their capability and confidence.

Delivering education and training to both internal staff and external health professionals.

Building strong networks across the health sector, particularly with primary care providers and PHOs.

Playing a lead role in conferences, symposiums, and national cardiovascular awareness campaigns.

  • ?? What we're looking for :
  • Our ideal candidate will be a current NZ Registered Nurse with a practising certificate, holding a Clinical Nurse Specialist-level qualification in cardiology.

    You will bring experience in training, stakeholder engagement, and cardiovascular disease management, as well as excellent communication and facilitation skills.

    Strong relationship-building ability, proven leadership, and a genuine passion for improving heart health outcomes are essential.
