We have two advanced trainees and one fellow as part of the national training scheme.We offer comprehensive Gastroenterology services at Waikato, including : Acute inpatient service for hepatology and IBD patientsSpecialist hepatology and IBD clinics (including Fibroscan and intestinal ultrasound)General gastroenterology clinicsClinical trial unit and opportunities for investigator led researchContributions to medical student, physician and gastroenterology training pathwaysWe are the largest service in the Central North Island and provide support and tertiary services for surrounding hospitals.About WaikatoLocated in the heart of the mighty Waikato, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato operates over a number of sites, Hamilton City our main campus and smaller community-based hospitals across our region.
