About the Role
As Retail Project Manager Lead – NZ, you'll play a key role in delivering retail transformation projects across New Zealand. Working closely with the Solutions Project Manager – Retail, you'll ensure NZ initiatives are executed successfully and aligned with Bridgestone's broader strategic goals.
This role isn't just about managing tasks-it's about being a strategic partner where you will need a strong blend of delivery focus, commercial understanding and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across different business functions. As well as being able to adapt and pivot quickly, you will also need to be commercially curious, interested in how things relate and link together and have the ability to see the bigger picture.
To be successful you will need :
- A Bachelor's degree in Business and 3–5 years of project management experience
- Experience working in a large organisation and understanding of how to manage complex projects in a corporate environment Proven ability to plan, organise, and execute projects, seeing them through the full lifecycle
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies and software tools as well as strong skills within Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Sound analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think creatively
- To be a self-motivated team player who has strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust quickly and be comfortable working in matrixed environments
