Operations Manager - Fabricator Support

Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our dedicated team in supporting fabricators with the setup, maintenance, optimization, and improvement of manufacturing environments producing APL products. This role is a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and relationship management – ensuring machinery, tooling, and systems are optimally integrated to drive performance, productivity, and efficiency across our network of customer sites. You’ll be at the forefront of supporting fabricators, solving challenges, and delivering continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a skilled team delivering machinery, tooling, and product training to fabricators.
• Drive performance and efficiency by providing expert advice and training to fabricators.
• Allocate resources and delegate tasks to ensure timely and effective support.
• Take ownership of urgent and critical situations, providing swift, effective solutions.
• Assist with machinery setup, maintenance, and breakdown repairs for customer equipment.
• Carry out factory visits and audits.
• Initiate and lead improvement projects with customers to boost productivity.
