Overview
Senior Auditor — October 23, 2025
As the Senior in Charge you will get the opportunity to manage the entire audit process from resource planning through to completion of commercial statutory audits. Additionally, as a Senior member within the team, you'll become a key member of the assurance team. Under the guidance of capable leaders, you will have the opportunity to take an active role in the entire pre-planning and project management of engagements, while managing a diverse client portfolio. You will be able to hone your commercial acumen while on the front line, engaging with clients and developing strong relationships.
Who are you, and what is your profile?
Ideally you will be 2 years post qualification and in a similar role looking for an opportunity to step up. Or potentially you will be someone who began in Audit before going to the commercial world and potentially looking to return to a role that involves more than audit field work. You must have previously managed client portfolios, preferably a mix of commercial and not-for-profits. You could be Big 4 or mid-market trained and additional experience in staff management would be a bonus. You are expected to be commercially savvy and in return you'll have an opportunity to advance your career with a leading firm with a solid reputation and long standing history in the Canterbury region. We welcome overseas trained audit professionals who are presently in NZ with existing rights to work (e.g., working holiday visa). A senior audit opportunity in the Canterbury region doesn't come around often. Your application will be treated in strict confidence; please apply online using the appropriate link below. For a confidential discussion around your career please contact Harry Dev Singh or Tyrone Harris.
