The Role
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse who is able to be flexible in their work hours.
In this role, you will be employed for at least 32 hours per week.
As a relieving nurse, you will be rostered to cover the planned leave of other staff.
The rostered shifts may be morning, afternoon or night, over any day.
You will be part of a team of Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants providing our residents at rest home and hospital level with high quality and home-like residential care.
Hours :
This is a part time permanent position, 32 hours per week relieving as rostered with a variety of shifts and days.
Additional shifts can be worked by mutual agreement.

About You
The ideal applicant will :
Hold a current New Zealand Nurse practising certificate
Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
Have strong leadership skills, though previous leadership experience is not required
Have a good level of computer literacy with demonstrated experience using relevant clinical software
Be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with our residents, family / whanau and staff
Have good knowledge of regulatory requirements for residential care and other relevant legislation
Have the ability to work with management to maintain the high quality care that Presbyterian Support Otago is renowned for
Previous experience in Aged Care is preferred, though not essential
