New Zealand Window Shades (NZWS) is the market leader in custom‑made interior and exterior window coverings, delivering premium products through our iconic Luxaflex® and Weathermaster® brands.

We’re on an exciting growth journey to become the fastest‑growing, most loved and most efficient window coverings company in the world – and we’re looking for a driven Account Manager to help us make it happen.

This key role covers the Central and Lower North Island , including the Bay of Plenty, Coromandel, Waikato, Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Wellington, Kāpiti and Palmerston North regions. You’ll work remotely within your territory and travel regularly to meet with dealers, retailers, and customers.

This role is integral to our business by ensuring we deliver on our commitment to help people live beautifully in a connected, energy‑efficient space!

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of your territory — driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and building brand visibility. As part of a supportive national team, you’ll manage an established dealer network while identifying new opportunities to expand market share.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow your territory. Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities in line with company sales targets.
  • Build and strengthen dealer relationships. Partner closely with our network to increase engagement, loyalty, and sales results.
  • Champion our premium product range. Deliver training and support to dealers to enhance their expertise and confidence.
  • Analyse and plan strategically. Prepare territory sales reports and insights to inform business decisions and drive performance.
  • Represent the brand. Act as an ambassador for NZWS, ensuring exceptional service, professionalism, and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate across the business. Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer support to deliver customer success.

About You

We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic, and commercially astute professional who thrives on growth and building strong relationships.

The successful candidate will bring :

  • 3+ years of proven success in Account Management or territory sales, ideally in a product or design‑led environment.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence presenting and delivering product or technical training.
  • Strong business acumen — you use data and insights to make smart decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and reporting skills, with a self‑starter mindset.
  • Relevant industry experience (though it’s not essential to have window coverings background, experience with custom‑made products is preferred)
