Clinical Nurse Specialist - Theatres - Surgical

Do you want to make a difference in the journey of our patients, whānau and staff!
Are you passionate about supporting our Charge Nurse and Level 8 PACU CNS with patient and learming support for NETPs after hours

About the Role

This is a 0.6 FTE permanent role where you will :

Assist our Charge Nurse & Level 8 PACU CNS ensuring that competences are signed off in a timeley manner to allow new Staff to work independently and safely

Support Staff with acute and complex patients, procedures, equipment and discharges both during normal working hours and after hours

We are looking for the following requirements :

A commitment to biculturalism and equitable outcomes for Māori

RGN; RGON; RPN; RCpN with or without BN or BHSC (Nursing)

Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)

Evidence of competence to practice within the Registered Nurse scope of practice

Specialty knowledge and practice expertise.

Postgraduate certificate / diploma in specialty nursing practice.

Working towards completion of masters degree in nursing or health related area

Knowledge of quality improvement processes and principles
