Job description

Cancer Society New Zealand – Wellington Central, North Island

1 in 3. That’s how many New Zealanders will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime. At the Cancer Society, our vision ‘working together towards a future free from cancer’ guides everything we do.

We’re on the hunt for a creative and organised individual to join our team, to manage our digital fundraising platforms that are used right across the Cancer Society. Think along the lines of Daffodil Day and Relay for Life – you’ll be behind the online set-up of some of New Zealand's biggest fundraising campaigns in the calendar!

About the role

This is a key role in supporting our digital fundraising platforms and campaign operations. You’ll be responsible for :

  • Managing and maintaining our peer‑to‑peer fundraising platform (Raisely) and other digital fundraising tools, ensuring campaigns are well set up with engaging donor journeys and aligned branding.
  • Providing fundraising systems support across the Cancer Society, including user access, troubleshooting, data integrity, and training.
  • Acting as the main liaison with platform providers.
  • Supporting national campaign teams with operations, coordination and reporting.
  • Responding to general fundraising enquiries and collaborating with teams across the Cancer Society.
  • Contributing to new digital fundraising initiatives and exploring / testing new tools or ideas.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in building community fundraising campaigns on Raisely or similar digital fundraising platforms
  • Competent using a variety of digital platforms (design and familiar with HTML & CSS)
  • Organised and able to prioritise and balance competing demands
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • This is a full‑time role, working 40 hours per week and we’re flexible on either a Wellington or Christchurch location.

    Why join us?

At the Cancer Society, our kaupapa is clear : we’re working together towards a future free from cancer. We have a flexible working environment and opportunities for professional development, all while contributing to a cause that really matters.
