About the Role
As part of the Healthy Homes Initiative Programme, the Kaitautoko role will provide comprehensive housing assessments (CHA) for those whanau referred to the programme. In this rewarding role, you will support whanau in their journey with the aim to finding a warm, dry and healthy home. You will build trusted relationships with whānau, empowering them through education and support to maintain healthy living environments. As a strong advocate, you will connect clients with the right health and social services, helping ensure long-term wellbeing and housing stability.
This role is a full time, permanent role working across the Northland region, based in the Mid North with regular travel across the area.
Our Manawa Ora team sits within a wider Community Clinical Services, all with a focus on prevention and wellbeing. The team is made up of clinicians, kaiawhina and administration. You will be a part of a highly motivated team committed to improving health outcomes for our whanau and tamariki. We also focus on enjoying work and having the opportunity to grow.

About you
We are looking for an honest, highly self-motivated and committed individual who excels at putting customers first. You will have experience in prioritising changing workloads while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in social or health agencies, or in working with the building or housing industry.
