Warehouse Supervisor
As Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse at LiquorLand Glen Eden , ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of all stock. You will lead one team member, uphold health and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in stock control, inventory accuracy and service delivery to internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise your team member.
- Oversee goods receipting, inspection, and stock accuracy.
- Allocate tasks, monitor daily workflows and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse & Retail Administrator on invoices and credits.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks, ensuring PPE and manual handling standards are met.
- Manage equipment maintenance (forklifts, pallet jacks, shelving).
- Deliver excellent service to suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
- Support stock replenishment, especially wines and spirits.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics or inventory management role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.A valid and current forklift licence.Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a small team effectively.Strong organisational skills – plan, prioritise and delegate efficiently.High attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling, data entry, and reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build effective relationships across departments.Strong commitment to health and safety practices and regulations.Physically fit, able to lift up to 20 kg safely.Computer literate with experience in inventory or stock management systems.Desired skills
Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).Relevant industry training in warehouse operations, logistics or health and safety.Transferable leadership experience from related sectors involving stock control, inventory systems or supply chain management.What’s in it for You?
