What's on Offer?

Part-time fixed-term roles

(4 days / week) with potential to transition into casual work after the term ends.

Casual roles

to support our busy summer season, including shifts over the Christmas & New Year period.

Opportunities to pick up

additional shifts

or train in other areas such as the

Customer Services Centre (CSC)

Salary :

Range for this role is $64,485 - $70,979 per annum (pro-rated for part-time / casual), based on skills and experience.

Welcoming and engaging visitors with warmth and professionalism.

Delivering guided tours and informal interactions that connect people with the mahi of Parliament.

Supporting retail and customer service operations.

Ensuring a safe and accessible environment for all.

Contributing ideas and energy to new initiatives and improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confidence in public speaking and storytelling.

A collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a team.

Curiosity and adaptability – ready to learn and grow.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
