Assistant Business Development Manager, merewards (Loyalty & Rewards Program)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and driven team player to join merewards.

As a key member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for new client acquisition, as well as managing and growing an expanding portfolio of clients.

In addition, you will also support the team's growing focus on media revenue, so a working knowledge or experience in digital media will be necessary.

To succeed in this role, the candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to create and follow processes, and a track record of exceeding expectations.

Actively prospect and acquire new leads across different verticals to drive greater engagement and revenue growth

Identify, assess, and develop potential new business models, partnerships, and revenue streams

Support media revenue opportunities by engaging advertisers and media partners where relevant

Retrieve, monitor, and analyse membership and campaign data to uncover insights, track performance, and guide business decisions

Establish and manage client relationships, including overseeing technical integration with our platform

Ensure smooth onboarding of clients and coordinate across relevant teams to deliver seamless experiences

Monitor, track, and analyse key competitor offerings, promotions, and market trends

Create persuasive and data-driven sales presentations using market insights, case studies, and product collateral

Bring creativity and adaptability to presentations, with the drive and confidence to make new connections

Retain and grow revenue from clients and advertisers, consistently exceeding sales and media revenue goals

Provide clients with the highest level of customer service, consultancy, and after-sales support

Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as marketing, product, and operations teams to achieve KPIs and identify opportunities to integrate with key campaigns

Assist in affiliate cashback duties, product UAT, and perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years of experience in business development, ideally in loyalty and rewards program or Digital media

Proven track record in acquiring and growing client accounts; experience in media sales or digital advertising will be a plus

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Experience in cultivating new partnerships and maximising returns from existing relationships
