Who we are looking for :

We are currently looking for multiple Welders.

You will be focusing on welding of all Atkore products.

What you'll do :

Follows specific safe systems of work including processes, procedures and policies.

Set up welding work station for the day's activities including; turning equipment on, setting up welding tables, preparing consumables, raw materials and safe housekeeping of work area.

Seeking production orders from the supervisor based on the day's welding requirements.

Set up raw or semi-finished materials by laying out, positioning, aligning and securing parts and assemblies prior to welding by using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, rulers, work tables & or jigs.

Read drawings or diagrams to determine materials required and proper welding process required.

What you'll bring :

Experience in the discipline of Aluminum Welding.

Experience in Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), MMAW (stick) and GTAW (tig) with predominantly steel and stainless.

Good understanding of Environment, Health and Safety and the ability to implement safe systems of work within a manufacturing environment.

Within 3 months, you'll :

Complete your Atkore immersion program.

Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.

Gain an understanding of the welding process and projects.

Within 6-months, you'll :

Have a better understanding of the warehouse process and deliveries

Built efficiencies in your role

Have a solid understanding of the Welding process

Within 12-months, you'll :

Work effectively and efficiently in the Warehouse

Ability to work autonomously

Assist projects when needed

Be an OHS Champion
