The company is progressing and seeking a like-minded Project Site Manager to join their exciting journey.
This is a key appointment within the business and involves working closely with sales, design, and warehouse staff as well as installers and sub-contractors on jobs.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects across New Zealand, including scheduling of work, pre-assembly of specialised gear, logistics, installation, and final commissioning on site.Involve in contract management and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, contractors / sub-contractors to ensure completion on time and within budget.Spend 1-2 days per week away from home for project management and commissioning on various sites, including coordination with contractors and installers.Collaborate to ensure projects are delivered to high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant qualifications (ideally mechanical) or proven track record in the engineering industry; experience in mechanical and strong electrical understanding preferred.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with credible leadership in the engineering sector.Strong communication, negotiation, and client liaison skills; ability to work under pressure and solve technical / design issues.Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to delegate effectively.Health and safety awareness and commitment to maintaining company policies and procedures.Key CompetenciesAbility to work with others to solve technical issues and adapt to changes and variations at short notice.Strong report writing and stakeholder management capabilities.Commitment to professional representation of the company and high-quality workmanship.Benefits and RewardsExcellent remuneration package including private vehicle use and an incentive scheme.
