The OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated trainer to deliver the family violence component of the FVSV (Family Violence and Sexual Violence) Training Package to the Ministry of Justice Court workforce nationwide.

As part of the Shine Education and Training team, you will also facilitate training for professionals and community members.This is a fixed term contract until Dec

  • In this role, you will : Facilitate the FVSV Training Package for the MoJ Court workforceDeliver other Shine education and training programmes as neededBe available for extensive national travelYour Skills and ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualification, ideally with postgraduate studies in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Women's Studies, or a closely-related fieldProven experience in family violence specialist frontline work with a deep understanding of family violence dynamics such as coercive control, entrapment, and resistanceConfident and skilled in training and facilitationRespect and knowledge of te reo Maori me ona tikanga, with experience in kaupapa Maori approachesNZ Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4 or 5) or equivalent is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPointFull, clean NZ driver's licenceHighlights of Working with UsWe are committed to creating a diverse work place where you can look forward to feeling included and valued for your contribution.
