Matatu is about more than rugby; we're building a movement that champions connection, celebrates diversity, and inspires future generations.Join the Matatu Super Rugby club on a dedicated contract for services and help lead our digital storytelling, empowering the growth of the women's game and showcasing the unique spirit of our team.Whether you're a sports storyteller, an advocate for women's sport, or simply passionate about crafting digital content that moves people, this is your chance to work alongside a team that's redefining the game.The Role / ResponsibilitiesEngaged on a contract for services across the pre-season and season, the Content Creator & Producer will deliver engaging long- and short-form digital media of both photography and video content that brings the Matatu story to life.You will collaborate with players, staff, and community partners to capture : Player personalities and journeysCommunity connections and impact storiesBringing our partnerships to life through our channelsMatchday energy and highlightsYour work will amplify the voices of our diverse and talented wahine toa (women warriors) and help shape Matatu's digital presence.Develop content plans that reflect Matatu's brand strategy and valuesCreate, edit, and produce video content and photography for multiple social platformsSpotlight community stories, diversity, and cultural connectionCollaborate with players and staff to grow social engagementSupport media and press days with high-quality content deliveryProvide content for commercial partners that aligns with brand messagingStay up to date with social media trends and production toolsA graphic design skillset to produce high-impact graphics, motion assets, and print-ready artwork is desirable but not essentialSkills & ExperienceProven track record in video production and social media storytellingStrong camera, photography and video editing, and Adobe Creative Suite skillsStrong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and publishing toolsA collaborative, proactive approach in a fast-paced sporting environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGraphic design skillset (advantageous)Knowledge of high performance sports and Super Rugby (advantageous)Understanding of women's sport and its growth potential (advantageous)Familiarity with analytics tools to measure engagement (bonus)Contract detailsContract period : Delivery of services required across January to August
