Our client is a top-tier company providing a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout New Zealand, and is looking for an experienced Project Planner/Programmer to meet team needs due to increased project demands.
Main Duties
As the Project Planner, your main responsibility includes assembling time and activities within a practical timeframe for the program. Additionally, you should possess the capability to integrate resources and costs, resulting in the development of both costloads and resourceloads for the program.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in planning and programming for civil infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated engineering experience in challenging projects related to jetties, wharfs, bridges, culverts, piling works, roads, and water infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of planning tools such as CCS Candy, P6 Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Proficient in scheduling, programming, and creating master schedules, baselines, and reports.
- Willingness and competence to work within a close-knit and high-performing team.
- A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
- A solutions-oriented attitude with a desire to progress within your chosen field of engineering.
This is a full-time position with the opportunity for career progression. You will work for a top-tier company with a steady income of works and a competitive and attractive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, negotiable based on the level of experience. You will be involved in projects with a combined value of $200 million, spanning across two different projects.
