About the role

We are recruiting for a Legal Executive to join our market-leading Banking and Finance team.

You will work closely with partner John Powell who is renowned for his expertise in corporate and property finance, acquisition and asset finance.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a part in some of New Zealand's most significant financing transactions.

The primary focus of this role involves work to support lenders advancing funds for land investment or development.

There will also be scope to support the team on other financing transactions.

About you

We\'re looking for a qualified and registered legal executive who :

Has at least five years' experience assisting with financing transactions, whether acting for a lender or borrowers.

The experience should include title and security reviews.

Has strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities

Has excellent written communication and strong attention to detail

Has strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and a desire to work as part of a team
