Compliance Coordinator

Coordinate and support the global compliance function across the CDB Group, ensuring product compliance with AU / NZ standards, managing documentation and data accuracy, and leading reporting and automation initiatives.

Overview

This role serves as the primary NZ compliance contact, bridging NZ and China Compliance and Engineering teams to ensure operational alignment and accurate documentation. Responsibilities include interpreting AU / NZ regulatory standards, managing compliance data, coordinating with local laboratories, and supporting product testing logistics. The role also involves liaising with retail customer compliance teams to provide documentation, clarify product status, and address regulatory queries. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee compliance documentation and drive improvements in automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate China-based compliance team and ensure alignment with group goals
• Liaise with AU / NZ labs and retail compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements
• Manage compliance data migration and maintain documentation accuracy
• Support product development and testing logistics
• Review, verify and approve product compliance documents including rating labels, user manuals, core codes, packaging markings and declarations of conformity
• Cross check product specifications and test reports to ensure alignment with AS / NZS standards and EESS / RCM requirements
• Communicate with internal engineers and product managers to clarify compliance discrepancies or corrective actions.
• Track and manage product registration on EESS and Energy Rating databases (if applicable).
• Ensure invoices from labs and certifiers are matched with documentation
• Maintain the internal compliance manual
