While we work in different groups and on different things, we all strive every day to make the biggest difference we can for our students in our education system.About this role | Mo tenei turangaThis is a permanent full-time position based at our Nelson office, completing resourcing audits of schools and early learning services across the Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast region.Resourcing Auditors have delegation under the Education and Training Act 2020 to enter and inspect schools and licensed early learning services for the purpose of completing audits, to verify that resourcing claims are accurate and meet Ministry resourcing requirements.

This involves some national travel and working on location in schools and licensed early learning services, as well as in the Ministry's offices.Salary range : $84,425 - $102,271 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.

The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.For more details about the role, you can view the Job Description here.About you | Mohou akeTo be successful in the role, you will need a tertiary qualification or experience working in a public sector agency, auditing experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong relationship management skills.

You will need to have the ability to travel (may include overnight).

You will also offer : strong relationship management skills, including conflict resolution and ability to adapt communication style to the intended audienceproblem solving and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to make decisions by strategically balancing conflicting factorsexcellent time management and organisational skills - must be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectivelyknowledge and proven experience of the principles of auditingThe ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.This is a challenging and rewarding role, where you'll have the opportunity to help shape a highly visible area of our business that has a direct impact on resourcing in our education system.
