Marketing Lead - Visitor Experiences

Whanganui is a place of art, heritage, design, and natural beauty - and we're ready to tell that story to the world.

We're looking for a Marketing Lead - Visitor Experiences to be the sole marketing lead for our entire visitor portfolio, including Discover Whanganui (RTO), the Whanganui isite, Council venues, and visitor events.

In this role, you will : Lead Whanganui's destination marketing strategy and campaigns Promote our venues, events, and visitor services Manage our digital presence across Discover Whanganui and social media Work with iwi, tourism operators, and national tourism bodies Champion the Whanganui brand locally, nationally, and internationally You will bring : Proven success in tourism, destination, or event marketing Strong digital and storytelling skills The ability to work strategically and deliver on the ground A passion for authentic place branding This is your chance to shape how Whanganui is experienced and remembered.
