Overview
This medium sized construction company run by three directors primarily works across delivering commercial, education, weathertightness and industrial new build projects worth $5M - $30M. They work with quality and regular clients and place a significant emphasis on getting the right staff on board. Staff development is placed in high regard with monthly internal workshops, active mentoring, thoughtful peering with best fit seniors site / PM staff / projects and regular performance reviews. From top to bottom this contractor is well organised.
Responsibilities
- As a Project Manager , you will lead and manage multiple projects to ensure their smooth delivery and the achievement of project outcomes. This will involve regular and ongoing contact with project team members, site managers, sub-contractors and other consultants.
- You will be proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues and providing feedback.
- You will be ensuring project costs are measured, monitored and agreed.
- There will be a strong emphasis on OSH and compliance.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in managing a mix of small to medium sized commercial projects under $30MSound knowledge of the local sun contractor market and relevant commercial construction legislationAbility to lead and performance manage construction teams to achieve agreed outcomesExcellent programming / IT skillsStrong financial management with ability to drive cost accountabilityOutstanding written and oral communicationSalary and how to apply
