A Level 2 Serviceperson is able to consistently install services and ventilation duct etc to an approved standard within the required timeframe as per our Company policies and proceduresA Level 1 Serviceperson, in addition to the Level 2 requirements, will hold a "Normal Trans-Mixer Operations" certificate (Agi Ticket) and is competent at batchingThe Maintenance of all underground dewatering and sumpsAll water, compressed air and ventilation services from the portal to the working facesThe installation and maintenance of all underground emergency response facilities and infrastructure including refuge chambers, firefighting and emergency escape waysInstallation and maintenance of the underground services infrastructure (compressed air, water, dewatering, ventilation and communication)Project infrastructure installations (pumping, electrical, ventilation)Installation and grouting of secondary ground supportTake responsibility for all tools required to undertake service dutiesBe able to work with minimal supervision and assume accountability for the safe installation of all mine services as per Company policies and procedures.QualificationsFull and current driver licence and confidence driving manual vehicles over rough terrainCurrent First Aid CertificateA minimum of 6th Form Certificate / NCEA Level 2 or equivalent in maths and EnglishExperienceA minimum of 2 years underground mining experienceMust have proven experience as Service CrewDemonstrated compliance with Company policies and procedures Current pit permitRe-entry TicketWater down, scaling Training TicketTruck Training TicketService Crew Training TicketApproved Handlers TicketExplosive Handling, Transport and Storage of Explosives and Detonators TicketPassed out on all relevant Company policies and proceduresAdditional InformationResidential role, live and work in the stunning region of Otago, NZ.7 on / 7 off, day / night shift rosterCompetitive salary + bonus structureDiscounts on retail and servicesFree Southern Cross Healthcare and Life InsuranceLong service recognitionLiving Our Values recognition programOnsite Physiotherapist and nurse suiteFree transport to workStudy assistanceAccess to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Exceptional working environment where people are valued and respectedApplications close 19 October 2025.
