Hide And Skin Processing Worker

Wage : 23.5 / hourWorking hours :

• hours / week (minimum 40 hours guaranteed)Performs routine tasks in salting sheepskins.

Handle and clean raw sheepskins delivered daily from the abattoirs.

Can operate a forklift with basic pallet moving skills.Responsibilities include : Operating salting drums to salt the sheepskins and ensure proper preservation.Inspecting and testing green skins or hides for size, cleanliness, colour, markings and quality, and sorting into lots for drying or salting.Inspecting and sorting dried or salted sheepskins for baling.We are an equal opportunities employer.
