Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Wellington region.

This is a full-time permanent role with

• hours per week.The role is to lead the delivery of asphalt specific projects / contracts in a profitable, compliant and efficient manner, while achieving health & safety objectives.

You are also required to ensure asphalt is laid meeting time, budget and quality standards, and improving customer services and relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Build successful professional client relationships

Prepare professional tenders and communicate professionally with client representatives and customers

Improve client service and make sure contracts delivered on time

Management of day-to-day allocated operational activities

Pricing contracts / quotes and prepare tenders submissions

Show asphalt technical expertise and deliver contineous improvement implement our commitement to innovation

Work as a leader who lives by our values and rules, and holds other to them.

Put health and safety first.

Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience as a project engineer, or a leader / manager role in construction sector.

Practical experience as a civil engineering expert

High level of communications skills with influencing empahsis

Flexible and resilient approach with ability to travel

Excellent interpersonal skills that enable the building of effective relationships with key personnel

High attention to detail and computer skills (MS packages)
