About the Role
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our Prevention team as a
Manager Immunisations.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic and operational leadership of the National Immunisation team to ensure equitable delivery of antenatal, childhood and adult immunisations. You will provide leadership, management and delivery of the sector engagement and delivery and logistics functions across the regions in respect to the Prevention Immunisation programmes. You will lead and support the programmes of work across Prevention Immunisation to deliver on the Governments priorities and all National strategies.

About you
You are someone able to lead the delivery of the national components of the integrated immunisation plan and able to provide an interface with the Machinery of Government, particularly the Ministers office. A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification
The ability to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands acquired over time – 3+ years
Proven experience in health care and in business management, operational and corporate services leadership with the ability to draw on extensive experience in varied environments
Demonstrated experience in eliminating inequities and delivering on Pae Ora
Experience in managing national programmes, performance monitoring and reporting
A demonstrated track record of managing change and delivering results
Able to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the organisation's vision, purpose and goals
Demonstrate a strong drive to deliver and take personal responsibility
Demonstrate the highest standards of personal, professional and institutional behaviour through commitment, loyalty and integrity
