Overview

About the role

You'll support tamariki and rangatahi to recognise and use their strengths, develop interests and connection within their community, and see the beautiful mana they already hold. Through one-on-one mentoring, small-group activities, and partnership with schools and whānau, you'll help tamariki build confidence and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Connects naturally with young people and whānau
• Uses a strengths-based, youth development approach
• Bring empathy, creativity, and cultural responsiveness to your mahi
• Demonstrates commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Holds a full drivers licence
• Has experience in youth work, education, or community settings
• Willing to learn and grow through training and supervision
