As we embark on an exciting digital transformation journey to become a technology-driven manufacturer, we are seeking a talented ICT Business Analyst to play a key role in reshaping our business systems, data processes, and digital capabilities.
We are looking for an analytical, tech-savvy professional to bridge the gap between our operational teams and future IT systems. The ICT Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business needs, mapping workflows, and supporting the development and implementation of integrated digital solutions—such as ERP, CRM, production management tools, and data analytics technologies.
This is a critical role for leading our transition into a fully digitised, efficient, and data-enabled organisation. This is a permanent full-time role. You are required to work at least 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday within the ordinary business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis & Improvement
Conduct end-to-end analysis of existing workflows in production, design, supply chain, warehousing, sales, finance, and customer service.
Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and manual processes that can be automated or digitised.
Map “as-is” and “to-be” processes to support business transformation.
Develop business cases for process improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
System Implementation & Digital Transformation
Lead the planning, rollout, and integration of ERP, CRM, and other digital platforms (e.g., job scheduling, inventory control, CAD integration tools).
Work closely with software vendors to ensure solutions align with operational requirements.
Review system architecture and recommend appropriate technical tools for long-term scalability.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure all issues are documented and resolved before go-live.
Data Management & Analytics
Define data standards, data flows, and system linkages across the organisation.
Work with managers to establish dashboards and reporting tools for production performance, inventory accuracy, lead times, and sales metrics.
Monitor data accuracy and support data cleansing, migration, and validation activities.
Review KPIs and provide insights on operational trends to support management decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Facilitate workshops and meetings with production teams, designers, sales consultants, and management to gather and validate requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for developers and vendors.
Act as the communication bridge between technical and non-technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide ongoing consultation to department leaders on system adoption and best practice usage.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
Develop user manuals, training guides, and process documentation for staff.
Provide post-implementation support for systems, including troubleshooting and workflow optimisation.
Recommend enhancements to systems and processes based on feedback and performance data.
Ensure ICT solutions comply with company policies, industry standards, and data security requirements.
Project Coordination & Governance
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation tracking.
Maintain project documentation, risk logs, change logs, and progress reports.
Assist with vendor evaluations, contract reviews, and technology procurement.
Oversee adherence to project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Key Skills & Experience
At least a Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Business Analysis or any relevant field OR
At least five years of proven experience in an ICT management role related to digital transformation, or industry information, etc.
Strong understanding of ERP / CRM systems, business workflow design, and system implementation.
Excellent process-mapping, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics, or related sectors is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset.
