Award winning, Azabu has long been a mainstay in the Ponsonby dining scene alongside our beachside location in Mission Bay . The menu combines Nikkei-influenced dishes and modern Japanese with an emphasis on the fun and the interesting. Azabu is an unassuming spot behind tinted windows in a quiet section of Ponsonby quietly winning awards and creating devotees.

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for experienced Duty Manager for Azabu Mission Bay! Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience in a comparable role, the ability to work well under pressure, the flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests!

In this role you will be responsible for :

• Day to day operations of the venue including; staff performance, customer experience, and quality of offerings at all times
• Legal compliance of the venue in particular to the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012
• Assisting with events and group bookings
• Financial management ensuring costs (labour and goods) are well managed
• Assist with the training and development of junior team members
• Maintaining venue standards and presentation at all times
