Fibrous Plasterer

Key Responsibilities :

Study drawings to determine plasterboard layout.

Prepare walls and ceilings for plaster application, including removing old wallboard or plaster to prepare the building for new materials.

Make measurements and cut boards for application.

Construct and fit decorative plaster features (e.g., cornices, mouldings, architraves)

Apply and fix plasterboard partitions, wall linings, insulation, and suspended ceilings in residential buildings.

Prepare surfaces, mix plaster, and apply finishing coats

Seal joints and repair plasterwork

Adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements :

At least two years of relevant work experience or a NZQF Level 4 qualification

Proficiency with plastering tools and materials

Strong attention to detail

Physical fitness and reliability
