About the role

32 hours per week, across 4 days

Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 dedicated Kaiako across two classrooms (ages 3 to school age)

Support curriculum development and reflective practice

Foster strong communication, collaboration, and a positive team culture

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations through great organizational skills

Contribute to a fun, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued

About you

You'll be a warm and confident leader who :

Holds a NZ ECE qualification and full or provisional Teaching Council registration

Is child-centered in their philosophy and passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences

Has a strong interest in mentoring and supporting adults

Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with tamariki, whanau, and colleagues

Balances professionalism with a good sense of humour and genuine love of what you do

Brings strong organizational and time management skills
