In this key role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver insights, drive performance and provide trusted technical advice that supports decision making across the business.As we are embarking on an ERP transition, this is a great opportunity to collaborate across teams and contribute to improved systems and processes.What you'll be doingLead financial accounting and month-end processes, including statutory accounts, intercompany reporting and external audit.Prepare management accounts and related financial information for board / management reporting purposes.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control functions.Review payroll (employee) changes and payment reviews on a weekly basis.Ensure compliance with NZIFRS, tax legislation (GST, FBT, PAYE, Income Tax).
Oversee / review fixed assets, capitalisation processes, and related financial reporting.Maintain external stakeholder relationships, including (but not limited to) auditors and advisors.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a dedicated Finance team.Oversee joint-venture accounting transactionsActive involvement in the new ERP TransformationWhat you'll bringCom (Accounting) or 5+ years' equivalent experience.Proven financial accounting experience in a medium to large business environment.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, tax, and compliance requirements.Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.Strong communication and time management skills.Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environmentWhat we offerWe're proud of our collaborative, award-winning culture where you can bring your full self to work.
