About the role

We are looking for a Sonographer to join our small but close-knit team in a purpose-built facility which also offers x-ray, CT, MRI, Bone Density scanning and Interventional Radiology.

We are ideally seeking a full time Sonographer however also open to part time and locum opportunities for the right candidate(s). We’re accredited with Immigration NZ and provide relocation assistance too.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality ultrasound scanning, in a supportive team environment. Our case mix makes this a Sonographers dream job because of the variety of cases, from MSK to elastography, general body (with limited obstetric) scanning. Each day is different!

Some of your responsibilities will include :

Utilising clinical judgement / decision making to inform examination strategy and outcome

Ensuring the delivery of ultrasound imaging in a skilful and knowledgeable manner

Preparing written reports for examinations whereby you use your superior knowledge to critically evaluate findings.

Practicing procedures in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.

Work in with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate outcomes for our patients.

This position will require you to be a real people person, with the ability to provide a high level of care and understanding to existing and prospective patients, catering to their psychological and physical needs.

MRTB qualification as a registered Sonographer or MRTB recognised overseas qualification with a current APC.
