About the role - Mō te turanga mahi
This role is a key member of our technology teams working in close cooperation with the Digital Sales and Marketing teams. The role is responsible for supporting the technical aspects of the Marketing Automation function specifically in the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In this role, you will :
Be responsible for the SDLC in our always on customer journeysConnect and maintain data within the platform ensuring accuracy, integrity and data governance.Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate data connectivity both into and out of the platform.Get hands on in troubleshooting and monitoring marketing automation processes and identifying improvements end to endProvide technical support to the marketing owners of the campaigns.Ensuring the business strategy, technical and marketing strategies come to life within our campaigns and in our marketing assets.Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate data requests understanding data architecture and helping to facilitate reporting.Desired Skills and Experience
3-5 years’ experience using enterprise Marketing Automation platforms ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a technical capacity.Experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing data flows.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, for use across Cloud Pages and Templates.Experience in AMPscript or a similar server-side scripting languageProficient in SQLIdeally a foundational understanding of marketing concepts and the role direct communication plays in the customer experienceKnowledge of the Financial Services industry is preferable but not essentialStrong technical skillset in Marketing Automation (Preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud) with a focus on development and data management and manipulation. Specifically, strong SQL, HTML and CSS skills are required.Enthusiasm for solving complex data processes and optimising our marketing automation accordinglyProven analytical skills and ability to think laterally with a proactive approach to problem solvingStrong attention to detail and accuracy of workAble to consider the situation and continually make improvements.Ability to have confident conversations about best practices for data processesCollaborative team player, fostering strong relationships and contributing to shared goals.Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of tasks through to completion.Growth mindset, continuously developing your skills and staying informed on industry best practices.Qualified by experience or tertiary qualification in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Te whakaute hei paparahi, kia toitū tea o hurihuri nei - Care is the foundation of living a meaningful and sustainable life.
