Overview

Wairarapa, Masterton — Permanent Full-time role for an Anaesthetist.

You will be one of five anaesthetists in a unit that provides a comprehensive service in public and private care for the population of the Wairarapa, and you will provide support for the hospital's High Dependency Unit.

Responsibilities

Provide anaesthetic services within a unit that supports public and private theatres and services for the Wairarapa population.

Support the High Dependency Unit as part of this role.

Fulfil a full-time position with an on-call requirement of 1 in 5.

About you

Registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for registration with the Medical Council to enable practice within New Zealand.

Holds a higher qualification appropriate to the specialty which is recognised by the Medical Council of New Zealand for specialist registration.
