Due to our clients' requirements and time frames, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining excavators (1.5 to 30 T) and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on civil construction sites
• Performing trenching, paving prep, backfilling, site cuts, and boxing out for roads, kerbs, channels, and drainage systems
• Working safely in deep trenches and confined spaces, especially around live services and utilities
• Assisting with de‑construction and site preparation tasks, ensuring readiness for upcoming works
• Following site plans, blueprints, GPS / GIS equipment (advantageous) and daily work instructions to complete tasks to required quality and deadlines
