Drainage / Excavator Operator (BOP)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lead drainage / excavator operator as part of our Civil team here at HEB Construction in the Bay of Plenty / Tauranga.

THE ROLE:

• Lead Excavator Operator with trenching/drainage experience
• Operate various items of plant on different civil projects (excavator, roller, compactor, site dumper)
• General labouring work to support the team when required
• Other duties specific to civil construction, such as concrete work, kerb & channel, small asphalt work etc.
• Permanent full time job - minimum 40 hours guaranteed
• Work from Monday to Friday (Saturday from time to time)

ABOUT YOU:

• Full, clean Class 1 license, Class 2 advantageous (or overseas equivalent)
• WTR endorsements (or overseas equivalent)
• 3+ year's experience as an Operator/Labourer in Civil construction
• Willingness to put in a hard day's work
• A desire to keep yourself and others safe in the workplace
• SiteSafe or Construct Safe certificate (or ability to obtain it)
